I have a degree in Child Development from Tufts University and have also studied at Wheelock College. I am certified for teaching students with special needs and elementary education.A native of New Jersey, I relocated to Georgia in 2001, where for five years I taught early intervention kindergarten and special needs preschool. I used multisensory activities to reach students. These activities allowed students to own their learning and be in control of their success. I provided my students with a fun environment and allowed them to overcome challenges with concepts by utilizing movement sequences, acronyms, rhymes, songs, and pictures in the lessons.I tutor students in arithmetic, elementary math, French, Hebrew, ESL/ELL, English, reading, writing, phonics, essay editing, grammar and mechanics, creative writing, expository writing, fiction writing, vocabulary, study skills and organization, and ISEE.In my free time, I like to volunteer, read, and hike.
