ExperienceMy career as a professional educator began with teaching English to immigrant children in the New York Public School system. This was a natural application of my skills, since I came from a family of immigrant educators and scholars. I later went on to teach Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate courses internationally, focusing on English and the Humanities. I have always been passionate about American history and classic literature, and have sought out discussion and debate on these topics and others, such as military matters and current events. I hold degrees in History, Teaching English as a Second Language, and Educational Administration. This wide range of experience has allowed me to continue to learn and grow as an educator. I try to bring laughter to my lessons and build relationships with my students, so that I can equip them for a lifelong pursuit of truth and higher-level skills. In addition to the history and literature, I am interested in politics, like to travel, and play golf and tennis.
HobbiesPublic speaking, politiics, history, tennis, golf, baseball, comedy, travel and jazz.
